Date: Wed, 20 Jan 2021 22:30:51 +0000 (UTC) From: Mike Simmons Subject: It was always about the bets 211 I was jarred awake by a loud clap of thunder. Looking outside it was obvious that the string of nice days was over. I was glad as it gave me time to get tot he office early and figure the week out. I smiled, thinking dad would be amazed as I generally work minute to minute and I am planning an entire week. I took a quick shower and was badly in need of a shave. Once the shower was done I jumped on the scale and was 228 and that pleased me. The issue was what to wear. Even when I am fully work casual, I am over dressed. Dad always is always in a suit and tie and he is the only person dressed like that. Security as part of the uniform wears a tie and I actually want them in a less official outfit. I finally settled on khaki pants and a light blue long sleeve shirt and no tie. Then there was the meeting with coach Weston and didn't want to be the best dressed person in the room. Then I figured, fuck it, I'll go like this and send a message, I am busy and this is bullshit. With those "tough" decisions out of the was I grabbed a jacked and started for work stopping on the was for coffee. At the office I was the first one there, well in the executive wing. There were scattered people around, taking advantage of the flex-time policy. I grabbed a tablet and pen and listed the days of the week and opened my calendar and started filling in items on the tablet. Monday: Talk with David Individual meetings with: Riley, Dillon, Kyle and Jack A meeting with Tim once I heard from David Meeting at school Workout - not at school Tuesday: Morning run Board agenda Construction sites Workout at school Flying Wednesday: Morning run Meeting with Riley and Tim Lunch and meeting at Oakmont Thursday: Revisit budget numbers Meet with dad over Board agenda. Workout at school Friday: Morning run Individual meetings with: Riley and Dillon Meeting with Jordan Call David Workout at school With that done I updated my calendar. Then just started to laugh as I was wondering how long that would hold before the changes. There was a tap on the door jam and I looked up to see Riley. I joined her in the guest chairs and it was a well organized and brief update which added nothing to my list of things to do. We were chatting and Ruth appeared and said Mike, MR. Hillgrove is on the phone for you. I got up and moved to my desk chair picked up the phone and said Wayne, what can I do for you? He said, move out of the Harmerville building as I have it sold and the closing is in two weeks. I looked at Riley took a deep breath and said Wayne, why do I need to know that, there are people here who deal with shit like that, let me transfer you and I sent the call to Tim. Once I hung up Riley asked, what was that? Riley, Hillgrove said he sold the Harmerville building and he was trying to shove it up my ass as he was determined to get back at me. I'm not sure as dad has an arrangement and he hasn't been told of a pending sale. Riley, we will have about 110 days to get people situated, not a ridiculous task. She laughed and said well, my guess is that Jack won't be this calm. I said thanks but let me tell him as he is on my schedule later this morning. She shrugged and said have a fun time with that. I wanted coffee and had a few minutes so I started for coffee and Ruth stopped me and asked, bad news. I smiled and said well it's definitely news, good or bad is yet to be determined. I took the long way to the Cafeteria and stopped at the security office and asked for the chief to stop and see me some time and that it was not urgent. I filled a cup with coffee, looked at it and tossed it and grabbed a bottle of water and back at the office I found Dillon and Kyle sitting in the guest chairs. I laughed and asked so am I being doubled teamed? Dillon laughed and said well the two of us seemed to be joined at the hip so we thought it would be easier if the three of us just met and got it over with. The meeting started with a very organized approach and it was obvious that they had worked on things. I had them a little out of sync as I was asking a lot of questions and when they moved to the buildings, I was asking more and more questions. Finally Kyle asked Mike, what's going on? Just as I was about to answer my phone rang and I looked at the number and said, I need to take this but you can stay. I answered with Good Morning, David. It was very little chat and he asked what was my Wednesday like? David, I have a meeting at the club. Mike can't you blowoff a club meeting? David, I'm sorry, I should have said a USGA meeting at Oakmont. We discussed other options and he asked if we could do Sunday and Monday. I said sure, at the lake? He was quiet for a second and said, sure as I'll bring the kid and that will keep dad occupied. David, dinner on Sunday and business on Monday and get out of there before dark on Monday? Mike, that's great see you then. Oh I will not have any lawyers with me. I said well why would you need one? He laughed and hung up. I looked at them and said, well to answer your question, Hillgrove might have sold the Harmerville property with a closing in two weeks so we need to be out of there in a little over 3 months. Kyle said Mike, you are taking this awfully calm. I said, this development is less than an hour old and I haven't thought through it yet and there is no point in wasting energy being upset. We continued the meeting and I could tell that they were tense. Once we finished I said guys relax, we will find a way to buy time and make this work. They said thanks and went about their day. Once I was alone I called Alex and asked him what he knew about the Harmerville sale. He laughed and said well it's not actually an agreement and there is another interested party and right now there are competing offers. Then he said, I have to go and we can talk tonight. I knew I wasn't getting the whole story but said ok we can talk later. Jack came in and sat down and I looked at him and said, so you heard? He smiled and said that there are people fighting over that dump, yes I heard. What I don't understand is why we are pushing one of those offers. I laughed and said well Alex and Wayne have a duel and if Alex wins this I am sure we are covered. We talked about a few issues and Jack asked why don't we just move my project in and not do a double move. Also my server issues are much less complicated that the NASA group. I thought for a second and said, well that's a great idea, I'll schedule a team meeting for tomorrow and we might have a better idea what is happening by then. Once Jack and I were finished I called Tim and asked if he was free for lunch? He said sure if it's a quick one? I said we can go to that sports bar around the corner, I'll see you in the parking lot in 10. He replied great and hung up. On the way out I stopped at security and the Chief, immediately said Mike, I stopped and Ruth said she would call me when you were available. I said, no worries as it was a hectic morning. I just want to know what you thought about a more current dress for you and your group? He laughed and said, well your dad has said no so often we stopped asking. I laughed and said well let me check, thanks. Tim was waiting in the parking lot and said, let's get going my day is shot to hell and you are most likely going to fuck it up more. We were quickly seated at the restaurant. When we were asked for drink orders we also ordered food. First was the winery business and a detailed discussion on approach. I was told to be on guard with dinner as typically that would be more than a friendly dinner. Then he added that it was actually good that I would not be drinking. Mike will you be talking anyone with me? I said, well neither of us had discussed that in detail, so I'll check. His club sandwich and my salad appeared and Tim asked, so what's going on with the Harmerville property, Wayne was very vague. I laughed and said, well he should have been because there is no firm deal, he is either playing games or is unaware. Tim, there is another party interested in the building. Tim, looked at me and I smiled and he asked, so what did you do? Tim, I really am not sure all I know is Alex told me that there were two interested and he was too bust to talk. Then Jack told me that Standard Properties had a party interested. Tim started eating and I knew he was figuring things out. Mike do you mean Alex and Wayne are fighting this out? I said yup and someone is trying to help us and one isn't. I need to see how this develops as I'm counting on Alex. Tim, what would you think that we simply move the GE group into the first floor first? Jack suggested that and he feels it will be easier and the technology transfer would be easier. Tim laughed and asked, isn't that a job for Dillon and Kyle? I said yeah it is but on another subject what do you think about more current attire for security. He took a bite of his sandwich and replied, damn that's way over due. I asked about his two attorneys and he assured me they were busy. Tim, I have one more thing and you should use those two guys. Ok Mike, now what? I said cut the Architectural form free, I'm restricting Enterprises. He shook his head and said, fuck that's overdue. I paid for lunch and we were back in the office in well under an hour. I was rearranging my schedule and went to dad's office and was waved in. Mike, what's up, it seems like you had a busy morning. Dad you could say that and I went down the list. He said Mike, I hope Hillgrove doesn't get his deal as he was not one of your best hires. Then I asked about new uniforms for security and he said Mike, that really doesn't matter to me, I'm tired fighting that and since it was your idea and not their idea, I'm good. I laughed and said I'll see you for dinner and I hope there is one. Dad looked at me and said, stop bitching about a housekeeper and fucking hire one. I got up and said count on it. I left dad's office and stopped thinking damn somethings up and I'm being cut out of the loop. Dad is playing games and not sharing. Well it will be what it becomes. I was in my office, with the door closed, thinking about things and decided that Alex had a client and that client was my dad. Why he wanted the building had something to do with that secret project he was working on that I would be asked to find a place for In Enterprises. My head was spinning and my phone rang. I didn't know the number but answered to find Jason on the line. I said please don't tell me you are bailing on the meeting? Mike, I hate being put in this position but I was wondering if you would be willing to me there at 3:00 and workout? Jordan, that's perfect after my day, I need that. Mike, it will also send a message when we show up for the meeting all sweaty. I said, great idea I'll see you at school. I was sitting in my office thinking and decided that there was no point in stressing out and I said goodnight to Ruth and drove home. I collected workout clothes and grabbed and used tea and sat on the back deck. I was focusing on the next event and Jim. It was like everything else today, totally out of my reach. It was time so I drove to school and found Jason in the parking lot and we went to the team room changed clothes and started working out. Coach was watching but stayed in his office. I was impressed with Jason's workout and we spotted for one another. We were about done and Jim arrived. He stopped, looked at us and went to the office and shook hands with coach Weston and sat down. Coach but both hands on his desk and said something and Jim yelled, NO FUCKING WAY IN HELL. Jim stood up and coach Weston calmly said something and Jim sat back down. Then Coach stuck his head out the door and said guys, please join us. We went in and Jim stared straight ahead so we sat down. Everyone was just sitting there and coach finally said Jim, Jason and Mike were asked to be here as there have been a number of players who have expressed concerns about your commitment to our program. Jim laughed and said coach you mean Mike is concerned about my commitment to his program. Coach started to say something and Jordan exploded. Yelling JAMES, then he quieted down and calmly said dude, you have no fucking idea who you are letting down and who is supporting you in spite of you shitty attitude. So let me enlighten you. Jim, the guys that are concerned about your attitude and work effort are the grunts, like me, who bust our ass game after game to protect your ass. Sure we block and try to protect Mike, over there. The difference is he appreciates it and in every interview shows us how much. Hell, there isn't a teammate that hasn't gotten better and college scouts have look at them because of Mike. Jim, that includes you. Sure you are good, but you got all you got because of Mike. Then you fuck around with school after school, making it more difficult for us again. Then you sit there being a smug jerk and blame Mike. Jim, Mike asked us to give you time and you would be fine. After Saturday we, your entire line, were going to have an intervention with you some night this week, guess what happened? Jim just sat there and Jordan said, Mike talked to coach and here we all fucking sit. Again Jim sat there saying nothing. Coach Weston said Jim, I shouldn't have to tell you this, especially after last year. What we do here Jim, is a group effort so decide are you in or are you out? Then Jim said, coach it seems to me like these two want me out and like everything with Mike, he get what he wants. I guess I have no choice, I'm out. Jason and I looked at each other and exchanged a slight nod and stood up and started out. Coach Weston asked, where are you two going, we are not done here. Before I could say a word, Jason said, I don't know about Mike but I have had enough and we need to get the "next dude up" ready. Jason turned and walked away and I followed. Once we were away from the office, I asked if Jason had a few minutes and we went to the stadium and sat in the top row of the bleachers. We sat quietly for a while, then I said thanks for doing that. Jason said MJ, it was my last attempt with him if it doesn't change now, we simply won't block for him, I doubt he will make it through both scrimmages. Then he smiled and said, we will block for you so there will be a lot of run plays. I said well we won't win doing that. MJ, I feel bad about that as like I said inside you have always respected and supported us grunts, but it is what it is. The line with one exception are underclass and with that great sophomores class, we will be in good shape. Then he got really serious and said, I want 5 gold metals. I smiled and said, well I'll do my best to get you 2 this year. MJ, all we can do is get Sam ready. Jay, I haven't given up yet, let's go back and see what coach says. We went back inside and coach and Jim were still at it and we simply left and drove home. At home, I jumped into the shower, dried off and threw myself on the bed naked and stared at the ceiling, thinking. I couldn't remember when there were so many thing I had no control over. There was a knock on the door and quickly stood up, pulled a pair of gym shorts on and opened the door. There stood Jim with 2 beers and asked if he could come in? I said, well it's about fucking time are you here by choice or did coach make you? MJ, I'm here for a lot of reasons none includes a request from coach. I smiled and said Jim, I am here for you but this better not be you saying you are sorry, you know I hate that. MJ when Cole let me in he handed me the beers and said that he doubted 2 were enough as you were in an ugly mood, I hope we can start to find a way back to where we were. Jim, that would great but what made you think I abandoned you? MJ, you were not enthusiastic about any of my college choices and with each change you were more remote, I did not realize until you sat there today totally silent while Jay blasted me what was going on. Then after you guys left, coach confirmed it. I needed to grow up and make my own decisions. Once I finally made up my mind you would be there. Jim, didn't all those phone calls you didn't return give you an idea that I was there when you were ready? MJ, they actually pissed me off as I realized you were trying, I just wasn't sure on what level you were trying. I reached for the beer, took a big gulp and asked Jim where are you with football this year. MJ, I am all in and I will prove that starting tomorrow. MJ, there is nothing wrong with my arm and I am in shape, I just didn't realize how fucking fast JJ is, I'll adjust. Ok Jim, what about college? Well a big school as I don't know what I want to be when I grow up. The rents are pissed as I won't commit to pharmacy. I have it down to Pitt, ND and Michigan and will decide before Labor Day. This time I will mean it. Just then there was a knock on the door and I said, come in. Dad was there and he said Mike, I didn't know you had company but we need to talk. Jim said Mr. Simmons we are almost finished. Once dad was gone I said Jim, you need to back all this up with action and you need to start immediately. MJ, you can take that to the bank. With that we both stood up and Jim offered me his hand and I grabbed him into a hug and said Jim, I don't need a wingman I need a fellow Musketeer, an equal. I'm working out at school tomorrow afternoon, I'll see you then. I walked Jim out, grabbed an iced tea and found dad in his office. Dad said Mike, I hope you didn't end that because of me? Dad, we were actually done and while it was good, only time will tell. So are you ready to tell me why you had Alex make an offer on the Harmerville building? I honest to God hope it wasn't to buy us time for the move. Actually Mike, I will need the building and it is a reasonable price and if I get it I am hoping Alex rents half of it. Mike the company is a startup that will design websites for businesses and whoever needs one. The name will be Web Designs an I would like to work with you, Kyle and the foundation. As for the building, I'll pay cash and if you want in 50/50 I would really enjoy that. Mike, before you go off on things here is the business plan. I said thanks but neither of us are paying for the building this is a startup and we can run it out of the MJS Foundation. So how does your offer look? He said well really good as Alex cut his commission and I raised the offer and the Foundation can finance it. We need to discuss this with Tim and Kyle. Then dad laughed and said, once this is set up you guys can run with it. I laughed and said, no shit as nothing ever changes. I found Cole and asked if he had eaten and he said, I have not and we need to fucking change that as I'm starving. How about we just do something stupid and go to McDonalds and eat there. It isn't healthy but we will be full? MJ, that's perfect but will you drive as I need gas. We drove to McDonalds with the roof down as the weather had cleared after a day of rain. We ordered food using the drive-thru, parked and were eating and chatting. It was real quiet with few kids and then I saw Wes and went over and he immediately laughed and said, I hear you and Jay had an interesting afternoon. I filled him in on my discussion with Jim and he said well he needs to prove it but he has a point about JJ and his speed and those very precise routs he runs. Back at the car Cole was on the phone and he asked if I was ready to go home? I said sure and we were off. At home Cole simply jumped into his car and was off, I laughed and said to my self, so much for needing gas. Inside I found dad and Megan in the game room and I said hi guys, Cole and I ate, he is off to parts unknown in a car with no gas's and I am hiring a cook/housekeeper and you guys are paying for it, enjoy your evening. I didn't wait for a reaction and went to my room. I called JJ and we talked for a while and he said damn you had some day, want company? I said sure and he said, well I'll be there in about an hour. I asked so are you staying the night? He laughed and said, only if I am invited? I said fuck, yes it's an invite. I was just chilling and waiting for JJ when Alex called saying I understand you and your dad had a conversation, I hope you are not mad? Alex, dad is always an issue and I understand but what's up? Well your dad's offer of $250,000 was accepted all he needs is financing. Alex, talk with dad and I think him and I have it worked out. All we need is a Foundation Meeting and the rates will be prime +1 and no down payment. Mike, how does that happen? Well Alex, it is my Foundation and there is monies allocated for startups. We could have that done by noon tomorrow. Oh, what is the commission on this? Mike, I cut it to make the deal to 4%. So that's $10,000? He said correct and it goes to SP. Alex that's correct and you will be getting a bonus of $1,500. Chaco back with dad tomorrow. I was lounging on the bed in gym shorts and tee when the door opened and it was JJ. I jumped up and gave him a big hug and I was handed a beer and he sat in a chair and asked for a cigarette. I shrugged and went to the nightstand and tossed him a pack. He looked at me and a lighter followed and he lit two cigarettes and handed me one. We were chatting and JJ said Mike what's up with you and Mary Ann? I said well she is a possible future ex. JJ we are still figuring things out and she is challenging and fun. MJ, she is very much alike Carrie and not at all like the others you dated since Carrie. JJ, why is that important? MJ, because I think it is a good choice but you might have blue balls before you and her get naked. JJ, that is never a requirement for me, well early in a relationship. I was quiet and finished the cigarette and asked, so how are the flying lessons? MJ, they are great, dad is so much more patient that Jack. I was sitting quietly and JJ what you thinking about? I said a bet so I can get you in bed? JJ said that's easy, I bet I can do more sit-ups than you in 3 minutes. I smiled and said bet. I set up the stopwatch and JJ jumped on my bed. I laughed and asked what you doing? He laughed and said, oh I forgot we are doing them on the bed. He said I'm first and I said go and he started and damn, I was amazed how hard that was and he did 20. When it was my turn I managed 18 and JJ was laughing his ass off. I got out of bed and the damn sheets were sweaty and both of our shirts were soaked with sweat. I asked, so you want a shower and he said I want the door locked and both of us naked. He grabbed me and kissed me and before I knew it we were naked in sweaty sheets. We were making out like wild men and JJ got up and started to lick my balls and I moved around so I had access to his. Then I worked my way to that special area between his bald and hole and the unique taste of JJ had me totally ready to shoot. JJ wanted to be in control so he eased up so I wouldn't shoot. We kissed for a while and all of a sudden I was on my stomach and a pillow under me so my ass was raised and JJ dove into my ass and his tongue felt so good I was moaning and it was getting a little loud and he stopped and whispered in my ear that if I didn't quiet down my sweaty tee would be in my mouth. I rolled over and said well you shouldn't be so fucking sexy and I was immediately flipped back over and he drove his cock balls deep in my ass and he pounded my ass. Then he stopped and held his rock hard cock in my ass and then slowly started again and gradually increased the pace and he finally lunged forward and unloaded in my ass and collapsed on me. When he pulled out I took his softening cock and started sucking and I was in heaven with the ass juice, cum and sweat made me shoot. I thought we were done and JJ started licking my nips and kissing. When he moved to my pits I was immediately hard again only this time I wanted in his ass and grabbed him and bent him over the edge of the bed and slowly entered his ass and very slowly started to work his ass with my cock. I kept it slow and steady and worked his ass as long as I could and with a quick second load it took a while but when I shot we were both exhausted and crawled into bed, pulled up a sheet. We made out for a while and I said JJ, this was a lot like the last time. MJ, like the last time don't over think it. It is becoming something and we need to be sure before it becomes what it is. He kissed me again and we fell asleep.
