At school, I went right to the stadium and weight room. There were a
number of guys there but I was excited to see, JJ, Jim and Ray. The
workout was fun and while I got a lot done it was at a more relaxed pace.
I asked Ray where he has been and he replied, working my ass off. I have
a job as I am building money for next year. Then he asked, if there was a
chance that I would go with him to VT? I said absolutely but we are
flying down and can I invite JJ? He said sure but there are 2 linemen
that would like to check out the place. Ray, I need to call down there
anyway, so I'll ask about unofficial visits. I'll let you know
tomorrow. Sam appeared and we chatted about how he was doing and his
group. He laughed and said well we are expecting to play at least a
quarter each game. I laughed and said, fuck that works for me. Once the
workout was complete the guys went to eat and I had to pass. When they
heard I had a date, they laughed. When they discovered who it was with
they were in hysterics. I shook my head and drove home.


 At home it was a very quick shower and I decided on nice shorts and a
tight fitting tee. I added ankle socks and new Nike running shoes. The
drive to her house was longish as it was at the other end of the
district. The house was in a "plan" neighborhood built for post WWII
guys in the early 1950's. All the house were pretty much the same ranch
style homes. Various brick colors and nice landscaping set them apart
from each other. I easily found the house, parked in the driveway and
knocked on the door. The door was answered by a guy who was obviously her
dad. He shook my hand and said, hi Mike I am Tom, peanuts will be right
with you. I smiled and he said damn, I should not have said that. Look
Tom, I have your back on this. We were chatting about football and Tom
said how much he enjoyed watching football last year and how he figured
it would be more fun this year. I said well we aim to please and
hopefully it will continue once my time was past. Mary Ann appeared in
shorts and a nice top and running shoes. Outside I asked roof up or down
and she replied down please. I opened the door and she got in. When I got
in I said, it's harder to talk with the roof down. She looked right at
me and said we have a lot of time for that. I pulled out of the driveway
and started for South Park with direction from Mary Ann using a bunch of
back roads. Considering the rush hour traffic, it was a reasonable
journey. We pulled into the parking lot and I asked what she wanted to
eat and she said an Italian hoagie, skip the onions and a diet cola.
Inside I ordered 2 hoagies, a Diet Coke and an iced tea. I went back
outside and sat in the car waiting on the food. I said Mary Ann, you dad
seemed nice. She said thanks and he is finally relaxing as he works too
hard. I have two older brothers, twins that just graduated from college.
Dad, paid their way and now only has me to worry about. Then she said
well the guys had academic help. I noticed the food was most likely ready
and I went inside and paid for the sandwiches and drinks and outside
handed her the sandwiches. The drinks went to the cup holders and i
started off to that very quiet table Cole had shown me.


We parked and she looked around and said, how many girls have you had
here in this very secluded spot. I laughed and said well counting you,
just one. Actually Cole had me here once when he wanted to talk. We
unwrapped the sandwiches and started to eat. Since she seemed willing to
let me ask questions. I asked, so what schools have your interest? She
replied, Duquesne and Pharmacy. Then she added it's expensive and 5
years. I was thinking a good program. Then she asked, so how did you get
all the AP classes moved to the morning? Well, I went to talk to Mr. Ramo
(Guidance Counselor) and he tagged me as spoiled jock and set an
appointment a few weeks out. When I didn't pushback, he got nice. I take
math at CMU and have 9 credits that will transfer to VT. I want to get
there with a year in. In a few days I'll finish another 3 credits. Then
there is AP English and History so I have right now 18 credits, so it
will be close. Mike, besides football what do you do for fun and to
relax? Well, I workout, golf and I love to fly. She looked at me and
asked, Fly? I said well, it's my new passion and this morning I was
certified to fly multi engine crafts. She said Mike, I had no idea and
that is wild. So Mary Ann what'd do you do for fun? She said, I read a
lot and swim and I am awful golfer. I also like classical music. I
thought nice, something to talk about. As we were finished eating, I
cleaned up and said let's go see ducks. She laughed and said, damn you
continue to amaze me but ducks never entered my mind. Well if you have
another idea just let me know. She said ducks are fine. We made the short
trip to the duck pond and were sitting in a bench and I asked, what
classical music do you like? She said Mozart is my one of my favorites. I
said so you like the classical style better than the baroque style of
Handel and Bach? I also like Beethoven. She just looked at me and said,
are you fucking for real? I almost fell out of the bench laughing and
when I stopped laughing I said I tried to warn you, I'm different. I
listen to that a lot in my room when I need to relax, always using my
headphones as I find a higher volume is better for the music. She said,
try as I might I'll never figure you out. I pulled her close and gave
her a quick kiss and she pulled me back and it was a fantastic and
intense kiss. Once we broke apart, I said damn I never thought that
listening to classical music would lead to a romantic kiss. She laughed
and said well that's all there is tonight.


As we were walking to the car she took my hand. I looked at her and she
said, please just be quiet and enjoy the moment. At the car we got in and
I looked over and asked, now what I'm out of ideas. She thought a minute
and said, I bet I'll beat your ass at miniature golf. I said ok and the
winner gets to ask one question on any topic. She said let's go and we
were off to Cool Springs. I wanted to see how competitive she was and for
a bad golfer that bet took balls.


At Cool Springs there wasn't much of a wait for the mini golf. After 3
holes, I asked just how bad of a golfer are you? She replied, well I hold
my own. The match was very even and at times a little intense. This was
interesting as I was lead to believe that she wasn't interested in
sports.  I asked where she usually played and was told all over but she
really liked Cedarbrook Gold course. I asked what she shot there and she
said low 80's from the white tees. I pulled her into a hug and
whispered, you fucking sandbagging me? She smiled and said, who me? The
match ended in a draw and she said damn, I had a great question. I
replied well when I bet a tie means we both won so feel free to ask
anything and I won't be offended. Then I said, let's go to Eat N Park
and deal with the questions. She smiled and said that's perfect.


It was a very quick ride to the restaurant and being a weekday evening it
was not busy and we were seated in a booth. When the waitress came she
ordered an ice tea and a stickie bun and I asked for coffee and the same.
I asked the waitress for a pencil and asked Mary Ann to write her
question on the back of the placemat and I left for the men's room. When
I got back I wrote my question and grabbed her hand and said, well I bet
it's the same question. She asked what does the winner get? I smiled and
said another question. She said that a bet. It was all I could not to ask
for oral sex.


Just before the waitress returned with our drinks we exchanged placemats
and I asked if she was sure as it might be an embarrassing question and
that the loser had to absolutely answer. She said she was fine and turned
over the placemat I had given her and she looked at the question I wrote
and said damn, we both want to know why we are attracted to each other. I
laughed and said well please answer my question. Mike, there isn't one
thing it's the complete package. You are fucking hot, that damn painted
on tee has drive me nuts all night. Thankfully there is much more than
the physical as that will pass. You are smart as a whip, driven, focused
and there are so many parts to you and every time we meet I discover
something new and all those facets are in constant motion and I'm sure
there are many that I don't know and might never know. My best
description would be you are a ring master in total control of the people
and thing around and everything is better even after you have moved on.
Then finally, you seem to lead a very different lifestyle than anyone I
know. You seem to have a lot of influence at work and you are more than
the son of the owner. She took a drink of her tea and said like I said
before, an enigma and a puzzle. The whole time I was eating and drinking
the coffee and she said, your turn.


Well Mary Ann I am attracted to you because you are sexy and very cute
and you are less interested in getting me into bed than I am in getting
you naked. Just be advised that is very different. You are complex as
well and reveal things on your terms, you have balls and the fucking
nerve to show up at work unannounced. You are smart and work at that
harder than I do. Yet you don't pry and I really don't know what you
actually know about me. You challenge me mentally and now physically and
I am totally not in control around you. I am not just a stud jock and
don't like it when people underestimate me and usually take advantage of
that situation. Oh, I'm amazed that you didn't ask about money, well
directly. We are a uniquely different and yet very much alike. Such a
dichotomy usually means that someone is playing games. I really hope that
is not the case as it could be a very fun year. She looked at me and
asked, is there an expiration date on this? I smiled and said it will be
what it becomes.


I was tempted to get into reasons about being careful with bets but
decided to let that go to another time so I asked if she was ready for an
embarrassing question? She blushed and said, I guess. Well why did you
break up with Paul? She said Mike, it is none of your business but to
answer your question we grew up at a different rate and the differences
became more than I chose to deal wit, I smile and asked if she was ready?
I got a slight nod and I paid for the snack and I drove her home. In the
driveway I walked her to the door and we were kissing and I asked if she
wanted to do this again? She kissed me again and all of a sudden I felt
her hand on my cock and she said yes and judging by what I am feeling you
do as well. Understand me seeing that is for a more distant time. I
kissed her again and said that actually works for me. Once she was
inside, I put the roof up and drove home.


At home I found Megan in the kitchen and asked how my new brother was
coming along? She said you sister is fine. Then she said Mike, I selected
a housekeeper/cook today. I said thank god. So do you want to know who? I
said, doesn't matter just so there is food a couple of nights each week
and they stay out of my room. She laughed and said well she did ask about
that and both were aware of that walking in. I smiled and said, well
I'll send Ruth flowers. Megan laughed and said well she starts Monday
and there will be food Monday Wednesday and Thursday, you see I have been
warned about Friday's in the fall. I grabbed a bottle of water and went
upstairs and called Sean. He answered with holy shit how the fuck are
you? I laughed and said good but before you bust my balls I am calling
Coach tomorrow. Sean laughed and said, well that would be nice and your
class just keeps getting better and better. We have new verbals for 2 O
line people and a very highly rated running back. You have no idea how
often Coach uses you as an example of the people he recruits. Visits are
scheduled with a nose tackle and a safety. Might be the best class in a
long time. I laughed and said just stay away from my position. Then he
said we are gearing up for practice to start and I said same here and
it's been complicated? Sean laughed and asked, so Jim still an issue? I
said yup and it didn't help him at all when the O line revolted. We are
getting the " next man up" ready. It will be harder but good. Sean, I
have out of town business this weekend but what if I flew down for an
overnight Saturday. I could be there around lunch time and could bring JJ
and Ray. MJ who is flying the plane? I said well I am now certified for
multi engine crafts, I will be the pilot. I could see him shaking his
head but he said, I'll call you Thursday night and confirm but it looks
good. We hung up with the realization that people were concerned about
the air travel.


I immediately called JJ and he asked so how was the date? I said well a
step in the right direction and there is a lot to that chick. We are very
different from each other yet a lot alike. MJ why do you always overthink
things? I laughed and said well I told her it might be a fun year and
that it would be what it became. JJ simply laughed. JJ, I have a funeral
Saturday at 9:00 so I need to miss football but I'll pick you up around
10:30 and we should be good. JJ, what did your dad say about you flying?
MJ he said, no landings and I could take off on the return flight.
However the hours don't count. I said ok, but you fucking owe me as I
passed the multi engine check ride this morning. Then I asked JJ, how
about you me and Ray and one or two linemen go to VT the next weekend.
Leave Saturday and return after dinner on Sunday. He said that would be
fun and I said Sean, will confirm Thursday night.


I had just hung up and Major Jim called and he said, Mike please don't
argue but I have a news conference scheduled for you at 1:00 tomorrow.
You need to be unrehearsed and casual, when you are at your best. It is
with an ABC affiliate and will be picked up by the network. So it is
khaki pants and a polo shirt, I was thinking the VT shirt would be
appropriate. It will be local full blown and air on Sunday and also on
Sunday on the network. It was a compromise to keep you off the network
for an hour. I said, well thanks for the notice and you just blew the
fuck out of my day. Jim said, thanks for cooperating. I simply hung up. I
immediately called back and asked, Major can this be a walking interview
at the building? He thought for a minute and said, he would set that up.
I said thanks but please not at our current site. I was now better with
all that now.


I selected clothes for tomorrow and it was a charcoal grey suit and red
tie, in case I could get to the funeral home. Then I selected a maroon
Nike polo shirt since we would be going to the construction site for the
lengthy interview. I was confident that Major Jim could deal with that. I
went downstairs and made sure my hard had was in the trunk. Totally
exhausted I went upstairs and jumped into bed and tried to sleep. As it
turned out that was difficult and as I laid there thinking when JJ flew
into my head and at the same time my hands felt my growing cock and I
started stroking and working it hard. When I finally shot the first burst

waiting and the run was swiftly completed. It was a quick shower and a
stop at McDonalds for coffee and directly to the office. Ruth was already
there and there was coffee on my desk and I knew she was please about a
hiring. I checked my messages and as I had hoped the interview would be
at site 1 and I was told not to get into many details about site 2 and
the events of the week. I was immediately more comfortable. I was pleased
that Alex and Tim came together and we launched into a detailed legal
issues. First was the official declarations for the 3 clubs concerning
the 6 caddied receiving $10,000 scholarship to be followed by an equal
amount for 4 years or until they received their undergraduate degrees.
Next was a financial audit of the awards to the police, library and fire
company. Finally a financial statement on the Foundation. Then there was
a formal declaration to be voted on to finance the office building for
the first startup. Then there were expense requests for salaries for up
to 6 people and computer equipment. Then there was a discussion on
revenue sharing and mortgage payments and we included a rate of Prime +1.
The lengthy discussion on revenue sharing and we agreed 70% for dad and
30% for the foundation. If there was no equipment investment it would
change to 90-10. Tim left to prepare the necessary documents.


I asked Alex to please stay and when we were alone, I congratulate him on
a great job. Then I asked if he was in any ready to build out the space?
He said that he had a job offer to a space planner. I said once again,
good job. Please prepare a budget with details for WebDesign. With that
done, I went looking for Kyle. He was on the phone and I was waved in.
Once he was free I  asked if he had any possible startups suitable for
the new Harmerville location. Mike there is one that we could start and
I'm sure they would do anything to start as they are Edgar and have
recently graduated. Kyle please check into that and the details will be
presented at the Foundation meeting.


I went to find dad and quickly outlined what would be presented and he
said that's all good. So Mike, are you in this with me? I asked what the
financial commitment would be and he laughed and said well there is a
mortgage and a monthly payment so half of those payments. I said, sure
but as a partner and not on the mortgage. That wouldn't play well with
the auditors. So how about a partnership agreement in a few weeks? I said
50/50 and he laughed and said sure. I went to the Board room and saw
there was coffee, soft drinks, water and donuts. Coach Weston was there
as were the Pro's form the three clubs, Kyle, Major Jim coach Weston and
a few others. Once Dad arrived I suggested we start. I thanked everyone
for their time and promised not to place undue pressure on their times.
Looking at my notes, I announced the winners of the scholarships and
outlined the terms and conditions. I asked for a vote and it was easily
accomplished. I asked if the Foundation could issue a Press Release. And
was handed an envelope from each Pro which contained a waver to release
the names of the recipients. I was really pleased and asked Major Jim to
release the information ASAP. Jim smiled and said, well that will be
ready at 1:00 and he winked. The next were reviews of the outlays to the
local people and that was confirmed and then we started on the building
and the startup. It was a lengthy and at time intense discussion. There
was concerns about the family involvement and the interest rates and
eventually it was adjusted to prime +1.5. Dad, who had stayed out of the
discussion easily agreed. Once that was done we were finished but I asked
the Oakmont Pro about the selection of Liam O'Toole. Mike, I get the
need to clarify that choice. Liam is one of the best caddies at the club.
He is the most requested and his application was presented to our
committee with no identification. I said Bob thanks and I hope I did not
offend you by the question but we just spent an hour discussing my family
involvement with the startup. I don't in any way disagree with the
choice, should he choose he has a career on the Pro Tour. Thank you
everyone. I apologize I am unavailable for lunch but you all have a
reservation at the sports bar around the corner, it's on me and not the
Foundation.


I had about 30 minutes so I called David, he answered with Good Morning
Mike. I hope you are still available as we discussed. I asked, is that
Sunday brunch and working thru lunch on Monday. He replied, yes that's
perfect. Then I said I would be bringing a buddy with me and it is for
company and nothing else. Then he asked Mike, you sure you don't want to
bring legal advisor? I said yes and understand that they will have every
opportunity to dot the "i" and cross the "t". Will you be bringing
your son? He laughed and said yes he loves being with my dad. I asked him
to pleas find a place for brunch as I was sure he knew more places that
me. He said fine, I'll pick you up at 11:00 at your place. I said fly
safe and he replied you as well.


Major Jim appeared and he handed me the Press Release and said he would
have it sent 5 minutes after you released it in the interview. Then he
said I'll drive you and JJ will bring your car, I figured you are close
enough that you wouldn't mind. That way we will have a chance to talk. I
said fine and was wondering what this was about. He said Mike, I'll see
you the parking lot in 10.
